- Enjoy some leisure time, which may include a variety of activities: do-it-yourself project, learning a new skill (crochet, knit), writing
- Practice deep-breathing exercise or any relaxation exercise to relax
Mental
- Color or paint or write in a journal
- Talk to others; stay close to friends and family
- Set a goal: help around the house, set an educational goal, etc.
Emotional
- Talk about feelings
- Have some 'alone' time for self-reflection and take time to talk to a trusted adult
- Do activities you enjoy and relax
